Olympic Games in Germany

11 September 1972, 20:02

The Olympic flame in Munich goes out. Since then, the clock has been ticking and we have been waiting for the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Germany. Since then, we have watched a multitude of emotional Olympic moments from afar. We think it’s time to finally experience the greatest sporting moments at home again. For more emotional moments made in Germany.

Our path to an Olympic bid.

Our initiative.

The Olympic and Paralympic Games continue to inspire people all over the world. They can deliver added value for society that goes far beyond sport if they are modern, sustainable and adapted to the host’s circumstances. The German Olympic Sports Confederation is also pursuing this goal with the dialogue initiative DEINE IDEEN. YOUR GAMES.

Together with you, we want to rekindle the Olympic flame and launch a bid that is supported by broad sections of society. Find out more about our initiative here..
